Ingredients
2cupflour, all-purpose
1teaspoonsalt
4teaspoonbaking powder
2tablespoonsugar
2tablespoonchives, fresh, finely sliced
1tablespoonthyme, fresh, finely chopped
1tablespoonparsley, italian, fresh, finely chopped
1tablespoonsage, fresh, finely chopped
5ozbutter, unsalted
1 1/2cupmilk
2eacheggs, beaten

Directions:

Sift dry ingredients together. Stir in chopped fresh herbs. Heat butter and milk until butter is melted. Cool slightly before whisking in eggs. Quickly whisk in dry ingredients.

Make waffles according to waffle iron instructions, greasing iron well - or make as small pancakes in a non-stick skillet.
