The Recipe

1 1/2 c Sugar

1/2 c Butter or margarine

-or butter crisco 1/2 c Oil

3 Eggs

3 c Flour, all-purpose

2 ts Baking soda

1/2 ts Salt

2 1/2 ts Cinnamon

3/4 ts Cloves

3 lg Bananas

-mashed (1-1/2 cups) 1/2 c Milk

1 1/2 c Raisins

1 1/2 c Chopped pecans

This is my top favorite banana cake recipe baked in a tube pan ... I have made it for over fifteen years and its never once failed me. Its so easy, yet makes alot!! In mixer bowl, cream together sugar, butter and oil until light and fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir together flour, soda, salt, cinnamon and cloves. Combine banana and milk; add to creamed mixture alternately with flour mixture, beating smooth after each addition. Stir in nuts (if desired) and raisins. Turn batter into a greased and floured ten inch tube pan. Bake 325 for one hour. Cool ten minutes, invert on wire rack and cool. (original poster ?) -----
