1 pound flank steak  1 cup soft -- whole wheat bread  -- crumbs 1/4 cup chopped onion  1/4 cup chopped celery  1/4 cup chopped carrots  1/4 cup chopped tomato  1 tablespoon parsley flakes  1/2 teaspoon powdered thyme  1 dash pepper  2 tablespoons water  Pound steak to tenderize. Cut pocket in center of steak. Combine remaining in gredients and mix well. Stuff steak and secure opening with skewers. Broil 3 inches from heat 3-4 minutes on each side, or longer to taste.
